14th October 2024 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: light Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny start then cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: 3 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Thursday 14th November - walks *** – The dip to Felixstowe Ferry – Sunny start then cloudy. We had to go to Lidl early to buy a dozen white cyclamen for next weeks celebration of my Dads life, we arrived at eight and the flowers were still in their boxes in the shop but there were only 4 so we had to go the the second Lidl down near the docks where we managed to get 8 more the complete stock of white ones! It was such a nice start to the day with blue sky and sunshine so after picking up Mags coat from home we parked up at The Dip. We set along a very quiet prom towards The Ferry, in fact the golf course was quiet too, just lovely really especially with the sky a deep blue with light winds:) The sun sadly disappeared when we reached the Ferry so after a quixk trip around the boatyard we headed back. We had to return to Lidl again as we had forgotten something then home for breakfast and sort my pics out before doing my exercises. My Dad is being cremated first thing tomorrow at Ipswich with no service at the crematorium but Mag and I are meeting my sister Sharon at the park to see him off. Photo Album here |
